Date Time
March 24 9:00 a.m.
April 21 9:00 a.m.
May 12 9:00 a.m.

Our hope for the 2009-2010 school year is that you will connect with CDS in a family sort of way.

News:

Don’t forget to turn in your White’s receipts, Box Tops, and Campbell’s labels, it really helps our schools.

Volunteering:

Want to help?
If you have been wanting to join in the fun of volunteering at CDS, you can do so anytime! You don’t have to wait for a call for help. Don’t wait to hear from your classroom room parent… give them a call and offer to help. Feel free to contact us at cdspto@yahoo.com or our President, Becky Bailey at 644-1820. We have PLENTY of events coming up throughout the remainder of the school year as well as Wednesday Workdays.

Wednesday Workdays
Every Wednesday from 8:30 – 11:00 or so, join us in the workroom helping our teachers with projects for the classroom. A huge thank-you to Ileeta, who runs the laminator and to the couple of Moms who help her cut out the many yards of lamination. Please, come join us!

Upcoming Events:

February  Events:

The PTO hopes everyone had a  Happy Valentine’s Day. The PTO would like to thank all who helped with the Valentine Parties. We would also like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped with the Book Fair. Thank you to all who helped with Skate Night. We could not do all these events without your help. We really appreciate you.

Upcoming Dates:

  • March 3rd – Pizza Hut Day – Enjoy a pizza and support your school at the same time.  If you forget your slip of paper on that day please be sure and tell them that you are upporting CDS so we can receive the credit for your purchase.
  • March 15th through 19th  –  Spring break. Enjoy your time off!
  • March 24th – PTO Meeting @ 9:00 a.m. – All are welcome to come.
  • March 31st – White’s receipts ends. This will be the last day to turn in your White’s receipts.
  • HOLIDAY PARTY REMINDER
A quick reminder that during the three school wide holiday parties (Fall, Holiday, and Winter), we ask that arrangements be made for care of younger siblings and other non-CDS siblings refrain from attending.  While we definitely encourage and invite ALL parental involvement, we had several rooms well beyond capacity during our Fall parties with older siblings attending. Our room mothers can not possibly be able to plan for food and treats for more children than assigned to the classroom.  Younger siblings are more than welcome to come with parents during other volunteer times such as Wednesday Workdays and Field Days, etc.
