| Schedule
CDS fourth grade students attend 30 minute science sessions
daily this year. First, Second and Third graders meet for 30 minutes
on alternate days. I encourage you to check the attached schedule and attend
your childs’ science class. Not only will you participate in
the lesson with your child, but you will gain a great understanding of
how your child interacts with others as they demonstrate their understanding
of classroom procedures. First through fourth grade science is
"hands-on," based on curricula coordinated from the Elementary grades through
High School and is constantly being evaluated. Science lessons and
activities are keyed to the Kansas State Science Standards. Please
