How to Request Information about Teacher Qualifications If you want to learn the qualifications of your child's teachers and paraprofessionals, please write a letter or send an e-mail to request this information from your child’s school. District, School, and State Report Cards District, School, and State Report Cards are available at http://online.ksde.org/rcard/. Just select the area of interest from the menu. Paper copies of assessment results and the most current education report card are also available at your child’s school. The Kansas Report Card is a collection of data compiled annually to provide information about assessment results and other performance indicators, demographics, QPA accreditation, and No Child Left Behind accountability, not only on a statewide basis but also by district and by building. The challenge of the No Child Left Behind legislation is the continuous raising of the achievement bar so that all students are proficient. Over the past several years, Kansas schools have made significant progress in meeting the challenge. The on-going work of Kansas educators is reflected in the improvement of assessment scores by Kansas students. |
