Natalie Rust Notes from the Principal... Attendance Makes a Difference & Illness Policy Teachers can't teach students who aren't in school. There's strong evidence that regular school attendance can result in significant test-score gains. So remember:
Please be sure to send a note, email or fax if you are going to pick up your child after school or have someone else pick up your child. School Hours are from 8:45 am—4:01 pm. Also, in order to protect from possible serious complication and to protect other students from possible exposure to diseases, students who are ill should not come to school. It is the duty of the school to exclude any students who appear to be ill or are suspected of having an infection or contagious disease. Parents may be called by the school nurse to come and get their child during school if he or she becomes ill. The following circumstances are some of the criteria used to determine when a parent will be called:
