Donuts for Dad: Calling all DADS! Please join us on Friday, December
2nd beginning at
7:45-8:30 am for donuts
and juice with your child
in the cafeteria. Feel free
to bring a board game or
book to read during this
time together.
Holday Shop: The PTO Holiday Shop will begin on December 7th-9th during the school day (9:30 am- 3:00 pm). Students will be able to purchase Christmas gifts for family members. Please make sure your child's money is in an envelope with their name on it. Thank you to our little —elves? for all the shopping they do to make this possible for our students.
Winter Parties: Winter Parties will be held on Friday, December 16th beginning at 9:30- 10:15 am. Parents may arrive at the school from 9:10-9:25 am for sign-in which will be located in the cafeteria. Parents are welcome to go to the rooms beginning at 9:20 for party set –up. PM Kindergarten parties are 1:30-2:15. At 3:15 pm we will be having our Christmas Sing-A-Long in the gym. Parents are welcome to attend!
School Service Project: Our school service project will be happening the week of Dec. 12th-16th, with our efforts this year going to the Wichita Victory in the Valley organization to help local people dealing with cancer—including one of our own Kindergarten students who is currently undergoing treatments for leukemia. Watch for more emails coming soon listing activities happening during the week of December 12th-16th that will raise money for our cancer service project. Thanks for your support!

PLC Times: Our teachers meet collaboratively on a weekly basis. K-2nd grade teachers meet every Thursday and 3rd-4th grade teachers meet every Friday from 8:30-9:00. The students are supervised in the classrooms by support staff so instructional time is uninterrupted. This time should be free from interruptions so please make arrangements to visit with your child's teacher at another time.
Site Council is another volunteer opportunity to be involved with the schools. The Site Council is a group of community members that provide advice and counsel to the school in evaluating performance goals and objectives established by the Board of Education. This year the Site Councils will meet jointly with all elementary schools. The following dates, times and locations have been established. Anyone is welcome to join us.
