The Giving Tree

As most of you are aware, teachers dip into their own pockets each and every year for classroom incidentals. Our teachers are no exception. After witnessing teachers purchasing items on their own, and noticing many of these items are things we have at home, or even inexpensive items others may actually want to donate to their school, the “Giving Tree” was created.

If you would like the opportunity to support classroom budgets, and give back to a teacher, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Choose an item from the tree.
  2. Remove the item.
  3. Label the item with your child’s name so a thank you note can be written.
  4. Return the donated item to the teacher along with the leaf.

Thank you for helping to support our teachers!

BOXTOPS FOR EDUCATION & TYSON PROJECT A+ LABELS

Once again Earhart students, parents & staff will be collecting Boxtops & Tyson Project A+ Labels. We receive 10 cents for each boxtop & 24 cents for each Tyson label, this for something that would otherwise end up in the trash!!! Money earned last year helped purchase roller skates for our P.E. class. The top four classes will receive a “Rewards Party” after each contest. So send them early and often! A running total is kept on a bulletin board near the gym. So check it out the next time you visit and see how your student’s class is doing.
Contest #3 ends March 3rd
Contest #4 ends May 12th
Make sure dates are on Boxtops and send the ENTIRE Tyson Project A+ box end or bag tear off strip. To see all participating products go to: boxtops4education.com and http://ProjectAPlus.tyson.com.
