What is PTO??
Parent-Teacher Organization - Fostering a supportive relationship between parents, teachers and the community while working closely with the administration, all for the benefit of our students and betterment of our school. (Operates under the authority of the USD 265 Board of Education.)

If you are unable to attend a PTO meeting and have signed up for activities on the Parent Involvement Form, please contact the Oak Street Office at 794-4200.

PTO Meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of every month starting in October Everyone is encouraged to attend. The more parent support the more our children benefit!

PTO Labels Program - Click link to see programs that Oak Street is enrolled in!
We are going to make collecting label points fun for the kids! Every month turn your labels into your child's homeroom teacher by the 1st of the month. The class that collects the most labels each month will earn a popcorn party or an extra recess! You can also ask grandparents, churches and neighbors to save their labels for you! Look each month in the newsletter to see who wins! Good luck and let's make 2012 count!

Pop Tops To Benefit The Ronald McDonald House
Please support this cause by saving and sending in your pop tops. The container is located in the hallway between the Library and Cafeteria. Let’s Go Oak Street !

New Dillons Program - Labels for Education
DOUBLE POINTS THROUGH DILLONS

SIGN up to get double points on all our labels through DILLONS!

Dillons started a new program for earning Labels for Education points with their Plus card. It runs through Jan 31 2009, so the sooner you sign up, the better. All you have to do is go to www.elabelsforeducation.com and set up an account. It is very easy and fast!! It will ask you to set up an account with your name and email address. You will need your Dillons card number (on the back of your Dillons card or key chain). To pick Oak Street Elementary put Goddard in the name of school field and then choose Goddard Oak Street Elementary. THAT’S IT! But remember to keep clipping those labels and sending them to school! Every little bit adds up!

Target Take Charge Of Education Fundraising Program
Hit The Bullseye With This One……Help Earn Money For Oak Street Elementary! When a member of the school community uses their Target Visa or Target Guest Card to make purchases, Target will donate money to our school:

• 1% of Target Visa or Target Guest Card Purchases made at Target or Target.com.
• 1/2% of Target Visa purchases made elsewhere.

Apply at any Target Store and help out our school.

15th Annual Oak Street Carnival - Candyland

OAK STREET CANDY LAND CARNIVAL - SATURDAY, MARCH 10 - 10:00 AM-2:00 PM
Preparations are in full swing! We are looking for parents/grandparents/aunts/uncles to run games, help with the concession stand, decorate, clean up, and so much more! If you, or anyone you know would like to donate products, services, money or time please contact PTO Carnival Coordinator Kelli Couey at kelli.couey@gmail.com.
