Coach Steve Blue is entering his third year as head boy’s basketball coach at Goddard High School.  During the past two seasons Goddard has won two AVCTL Division II championships going undefeated last season.  Coach Blue came to Goddard after serving as assistant boy’s basketball coach at Wichita South High School for nine years.  During his time at South, the Titans won the Wichita City League Championship one time and participated in the 6A state tournament three times, taking first in 1996 and third in 1998.  Coach Blue is supported by his wife Rachelle, their daughter Ella, and twins Ava and Miles.

Coach Jacob Holle is entering his third year as assistant boy’s basketball coach at Goddard High School.  He will coach the junior varsity team this year.  Coach Holle previously coached at Emporia High School and Emporia Middle School before coming to Goddard.  As a player, Coach Holle participated in the 4A State Basketball Tournament 3 years, placing third in 2 of those years.

Coach Jim Stewart is entering his third year as varsity assistant boy’s basketball coach at Goddard High School.  Coach Stewart came to Goddard after serving as assistant boy’s basketball coach at Wichita South High School for 17 years.  During his time at South, the Titans won the Wichita City League Championship nine times and won five 6A state championships.  Coach Stewart was also the head boy’s soccer coach at South for 15 years winning his 200th game last year before retiring.  Coach Stewart is a retired teacher from USD 259 and runs the Twins River Sports Complex.  Coach Stewart is supported by his wife Jackie and his three boys John, Josh and Jacob.

Coach Cliff Hartzog is entering his 4th season as the freshman basketball coach. Coach Hartzog came to Goddard in 1988 after serving as the head Girls Coach at Ness City High School where he took them to a Regional Championship and a Sub-State appearance in his one year there.  He then came to Goddard where he was the head varsity assistant for fourteen year for Dab Buchanan.  Coach Hartzog is supported by his wife Annette and his daughters McKenzie and Alexis.
