VISION STATEMENT
Goddard Middle School is committed to providing all students with the best academic, social and emotional experience possible during their two years at GMS. We truly believe that parents, students and staff are crucial members of our team and each is encouraged to contribute. By working together, we can accomplish our goal. USD 265 is an equal opportunity agency. You will not be discriminated against because of race, color, national origin, age, sex or handicap.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Robert Goddard Middle School, in partnership with parents and the community, is to provide a safe, positive learning environment in which all students:

  • Experience a superior academic curriculum enhanced by a variety of extra-curricular activities.
  • Apply knowledge acquired to reach their highest potential.
  • Demonstrate behavior that is responsible, resourceful and respectful.
  • Become productive citizens who will make positive contributions in the 21st century.
CHARACTER
Good character is instilled early and developed continually by parents, friends and educators so that students' actions demonstrate core principles such as caring, honesty, fairness, tolerance, citizenship, trustworthiness, leadership and  respect for self and others. GMS believes today’s students need to learn life skills to successfully manage tasks, form relationships, solve everyday problems and adapt to the demands of simply growing up. We stand committed to the character development for every student.
