Assistant Mechanic: Goddard Transportation department has an opening for a 12 month, 40 hour per week, Assistant Mechanic. Applicants must experience as a mechanic and/or have earned a vocational school certification. Primary responsibilities are performing complete service and inspections on school bus fleet, as well as the district’s car and van fleet; assisting mechanics with all phases of diesel engine repair; diagnosing and repairing electrical issues; and assisting drivers with pre-trip repairs. Activity Trip Route Driver: The Goddard Transportation Department has an opening for an Activity Trip Route Driver. The primary function of this position consists of transporting students to athletic events and school related activity trips. The secondary function of this position will be assisting with daily transportation route coverage.
