Greetings for Read Across America Day! Across the country you will see many classrooms taking the time to sit and read. It may be Seussical theme or a favorite book of the class. This afternoon we will take the time to read a few of our favorite books as we enjoy a bit of extra reading time.
I hope you were able to attend Oak Street's March Madness: The Battle of the Books Read Night Event last night with special guest readers Dr. Henry - Superintendent of Goddard Schools, Dr. San Martin - Assistant Superintendent of Goddard Schools, and our very own Mrs. Miller.
Don't forget The Lorax opens in theaters today!

I have made many updates to the Web site over the past couple of weekends with many more to come. Let me know if you come across broken links as I have already found many in the process of updating. I'm also working on getting the videos posted from the class productions of The King in the Kitchen. I will email out the link as soon as it is completed.
Thanks to all the parents who have taken the time to help out during Math & Science day and especially cutting out all the center activities for the class. I greatly appreciate your help and support.
Do not forget that conferences are just two weeks away. Please call the office to schedule a conference time.

Welcome once again to our Class Web Site! Hopefully this link will be the permanent link for our Web site for years to come. Tomorrow is the big class Christmas Party. Please make sure you send all items with your child to school or bring with you at 2:30. Remember the party will begin at 2:45 and run through 3:30.

Check out the new additions to Social Studies and Math. I have begun adding a new study guide for each Social Studies Chapter and Activities for each Math Topic. If you find a broken link let me know and I will fix it.
