I can't believe how the time has quickly flown by this school year.  The second leg of state assessments begin next week as we take the Math portion beginning next Tuesday, March 9.  Please remember to have your student to school on time as Mrs. Phillips's class will begin testing about 9:10 in Mr. Gable's room.  If you know your child will be gone or late please let us know in advance as this will help keep distractions at a minimum during assessment time.  In order to be well prepared make sure your child gets plenty of rest the night before and eats a good breakfast the morning of the assessment.

Carnival time is near as rooms and building decorations are going up.  Carnival will be held on Saturday, March 27.  You can pre-order tickets in $5 increments (4 tickets/$1), bring in a 2-liter bottle of pop to receive $1 worth of tickets, order die-cuts for $1, or purchase take a chance tickets for a $1 per ticket.  PTO is still looking for volunteers during the carnival, if you can help out let me know.  We still are collecting items for our STAR WARS theme basket.
