District eBook Information

We are excited to announce that Goddard Public Schools now has access to over 160 ebooks for your students to check out and download to their own devices!

Each student will be learning how to do this during their library time, and there is a short video on the district website under the Parent Section called “ebook information” that will help you when you are downloading from home. Your students will need his or her username and password to log into the Destiny Library page and download books. Students will need to download the free Enlight K-12 app from the ITunes store for Apple products or the Enlight app for Android products.  Ebooks can also be read on a Kindle or Nook device by using the browser on the device and going to the FolletShelf from the Destiny Library page.

Because this is a district shelf, there are books that are appropriate for all ages; K-12, and books that will be inappropriate for some students. In light of this, we encourage you to talk to your student about what is appropriate for him or her to read and look over his or her choices.

 USD #265 ebook Lending Policies:

  • students may check out 1ebook at a time
  • lending period is for 10 days; at the end of 10 days, the book will be automatically returned
  • students may return a book early and check out another ebook
    • we encourage students to return books early so that they can check out another book and more students have access

*If you have any questions, please contact the librarian at your student’s building.
