Goddard Public Schools is home to five elementary buildings welcoming students in kindergarten through fourth grade.  (Note: Apollo Elementary, Amelia Earhart Elementary, Clark Davidson, and Explorer Elementary schools also host our early learning programs which are open to all USD 265 families regardless of designated school boundary).

During their elementary school years, students will:

  • Experience core content lessons in the areas of English-Language Arts (ELA),  Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
  • Practice Character Traits and Social-Emotional skills throughout each week.
  • Participate in technology-embedded activities, including opportunities for typing practice, in a variety of ways within classroom lessons.
  • Learn from dedicated “specials” teachers in the areas of Library, Music, Physical Education, and Science/Project Lead The Way.

The role of the elementary school staff includes:

  • Focusing on educating the whole child – academically, physically, and socially.
  • Catering to the individualized learning needs of young learners.
  • Supporting students as they experience physical, social, and emotional growth.
