After completing the ‘2018-19 New Student Online Enrollment’ process above, you will be contacted by your child’s school to schedule an appointment and complete the enrollment process. You will need to bring the following paperwork to complete the enrollment process:
Birth Certificate
Immunization Records
Latest Report Card or Transcript
Proof of Residency (Utility Bill, Contract on Home/Apartment, etc.)

Summer Learning Opportunities
STEM Academy


Goddard Public Schools is hosting a STEM Academy for current USD 265 2nd through 5th grade students (based on the student’s 2018-2019 school year grade level) that will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) programs and activities.  This STEM Academy is offered at no cost to current USD 265 Goddard Public Schools students.  Bus transportation is available for current USD 265 students living within the USD 265 boundaries.

There are two 4-day sessions at Apollo Elementary School, in which students can sign-up for one, or both sessions.  The sessions will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Monday through Thursday:

Session 1, “Wild and Wacky Weather” - June 3-6, 2019

Session 2, “The Human Body: Inside and Out” - June 10-13, 2019

Registration will open at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. The registration link will be emailed to parents/guardians at the email addresses listed in Skyward prior to registration opening. Space is limited - sign up early! Students must be able to attend all four days of the session to be considered for acceptance.


Driver’s Education

We are excited to offer four Drivers Education sessions for students this summer.  The 2019 Drivers Education online enrollment process will become available to families at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19th.  Register online here: Students must be 14 years old by June 1st, 2019 to participate.  Enrollment is based on a first come first serve basis and space is limited in each session.  All of the Goddard Public Schools Drivers Education class information can be found HERE.   

To participate in Drivers Education, a parent/guardian and their student must attend a mandatory meeting on either WednesdayApril 17th OR Wednesday, April 24th at the Eisenhower High School Auditorium.  Both meetings begin at 6:30 p.m. Parents and students must attend one of these meetings together.


Kindergarten Roundup & Pre-K Day

Thursday, April 4, 2019 – 6:30-7:30 p.m. – Location: Your Child’s Elementary School

Please bring your child and the following information to Kindergarten Roundup:

1. Proof of Residency
2. Copy of Birth Certificate
3. Immunization Records

For USD 265 residents. Children must be 5 years old on/or before August 31, 2019.


Pre-K Day

Monday, April 8, 2019 – 4:30-7:30 p.m. – Location: District Conference Center (315 S. Main)

Come and go as you please! We will share information about the programs, the process of placement, and set up your child’s screening appointment. Principals and teachers will be available for questions during this time. Please bring:

1. Proof of Residency
2. Copy of Birth Certificate
3. Immunization Records

To qualify for Pre-K, children must be 4 years old on/or before August 31, 2019, AND meet at least ONE of the following requirements:

- Single parent family

- Teen parent family

- Low income

- DCF referral

- Limited English speaking

- Parent with no high school diploma/GED

- Child qualifies for migrant status

- Lower than expected developmental process

The Pre-K program is offered at Apollo Elementary School, Clark Davidson Elementary School, and
Explorer Elementary School. Placement is not guaranteed; assignments are based on availability.
