The guiding principles in establishing the Goddard USD 265 Police Department in 1998. Our jurisdiction serves all school district facilities and transportation.
Goddard Public Schools is committed to promoting safe educational environments for all of our schools. USD 265 Police throughout the years has provided Goddard Public Schools families safety and security for events such as graduations, dances, and a variety of sporting events.
Interim Chief Phelps began her career in law enforcement in 2014. She has worked as a Detention Deputy, Patrol Officer, Community Policing Officer, and School Resource Officer (SRO). She has completed her Masters in Criminal Justice in 2019 and FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association Leadership Trilogy in 2023. She is also a Certified Kansas EMT.

Officer Allen has nine years of previous law enforcement experience and served the Great Bend PD as a K-9 Officer. This is Officer Allen's second year working within a school district as a School Resource Officer.

Officer Heath has six years of law enforcement experience. She is a Certified Kansas EMT and has previous SRO experience before joining USD 265. She has a passion for building a better relationship between youth and law enforcement.

Officer Lamar has nine years of law enforcement experience. He is a Certified Kansas EMT and leads the USD 265 Police Department CPR/Medical Training for Goddard Public Schools staff and students.

Officer Malcom is a military veteran and served eight years in the United States Army, specifically law enforcement. He then became a civilian law enforcement officer in 2015, with the City of Derby, having the opportunity to work in the schools as an SRO since about 2020. Malcom has been married for 17+ years to his wife, Christine, and they have two daughters and an Australia Shepherd named Molly. His hobbies include watching football on Sundays and spending time with family.

Officer Priddle has served in law enforcement since 2018 working for Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office, Goddard Police Department and now USD 265 Police Department.

Officer Pulver grew up in the Wichita area, and has been married for about 19 years, with four kids. He's working on his seventh year as a police officer. Before Goddard USD, he served with the Maize Police Department and Wichita State University Police. In my free time I enjoy barbecuing, hanging out with the family and wrenching on classic cars.
