We are excited to welcome Tate Basham as the final new Community Relations Intern for Goddard Public Schools and the Goddard Education Foundation! Tate is a junior at Eisenhower High School (EHS). He is involved in many extracurricular activities, including Student Council, Business Professionals of America, EHS Ambassadors, and golf. Currently, Tate serves as the State Vice President of Business Professionals of America and the Executive Council Secretary on the Eisenhower Student Council.

As he continues his academic career, Basham is excited to grow his skills and to put his love for Goddard Public Schools into leaving a lasting impact. After being offered the internship, he promptly accepted seeing it as an opportunity to leave that lasting impact.

Tate has been a proud member of the Goddard family for eight years, starting his 4th grade year at Apollo Elementary School. When asked about his experience in the district, he said “I love Goddard Public Schools. My life has been changed in so many ways and Goddard has opened so many doors. The staff are truly amazing, I couldn’t be more proud to call myself a member of the Goddard family.”

Basham continued, in regard to his internship opportunity, “I accepted the internship because I truly love how Goddard leaves an impact on so many lives. I wanted to be a part of that impact. I am truly excited to impact the students of Goddard Public Schools in any way I can this year.”

We are proud to welcome Tate to the team, and look forward to the bright perspective, dedicated leadership, and commitment to learning he will bring!
