Today we are celebrating the dream team in our Oak Street Library! We would like to recognize and thank both Ms. Gerstner and Mrs. Soza on National School Librarian Day! Ms. Gerstner is an incredible Librarian that brings so many unique opportunities for our students to read, to love reading, and to be motivated to read. Mrs. Soza is the best clerk around. We can always count on her to jump in and help in any way. A big thank you for all you both do for our staff and students.

They bring such happiness, patience, and assistance to our students and staff. Mrs. Miller is treating everyone to a TEAriffic surprise this afternoon for all to celebrate the day!

Happy Tiger Trait Tuesday! Our focus trait this month is Cooperation, so be ready to hear all about it from our students in April. This batch of all boy winners won a book called Silly Facts for Silly Kids! The book is full of fun facts ex. Did you know you use 17 muscles just to smile? I think all 5 winners are using all 17 of their facial muscles in this picture! Congratulations to our winners today. We look forward to another Tiger Ticket drawing on Friday.

4th Grade had a special visit from Lieutenant Machado, a paramedic from Sedgwick County EMS. They got to hear about what it means to be a paramedic and tour an ambulance. What a fun day! 🚑♥️

These students are a huge deal and have a BIG tiger ticket prize to bring home. They all love the hilarious game titled What's in Ned's Head. This head contains all kinds of weird and disgusting things (just pretend thankfully), and the kids just can't get enough of it. Have fun seeing what other things you might add to his head and get ready to be entertained! Congratulations to our winners this week and thanks for showing your tiger traits to others. Enjoy your four day weekend!
