For an entire week we get to celebrate this educator for National School Social Workers Week! We appreciate all that Mrs. Barrett does for our students and staff at Oak Street. She is doing an amazing job for her first year at Oak Street!
We had a busy and very full week at Oak Street. These students used their tiger traits, were spotted doing so, and earned at least one ticket to be the lucky winner in their grade. They scored a goodie bag of over 15 smaller prizes. Enjoy all the treasures and have an amazing weekend! We are proud of you!
The "Tiger Patrol" prize from Out West night was redeemed today as a student got to choose a friend and enjoy lunch out in Goddard with Mrs. Miller and Deputy Chief Phelps.

Welcome back to Motivational Monday! Our feature on this bright and sunny day is our own Mrs. Chambers. She has a shirt on that reminds us of how Blessed she is as an educator at Oak Street. It is so fitting that she came to school just today and was handed a box full of drum pads. A special student and her family decided to bless Mrs. Chambers with a gift that everyone in music can use. What a fitting and perfect Motivational Monday feature. We are so appreciative!

Deputy Chief Phelps took a 4th grader on "A Sweet Ride" this morning. The student won the raffle at a fundraising event earlier this school year.
Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. Millar and Mrs. Rausch's classes enjoyed an ice cream party with Deputy Chief Phelps today.
Congrats to this group of winners. They were picked after only having two days to show their best tiger traits at school. They earned a fun Highlighters Hidden Mazes book. This is a perfect book to take outside and work on in the warm sunshine. Enjoy your five day break students!
